And it will be an early spring...

February 02, 2025

So, the groundhog saw his shadow, which means an early spring they say. Yep. Gotcha. It is going to be 80F today  (yes, it is February 2, 2025).

Yep, I know, I talk about the weather a lot, right? Well, that's understandable. Every single thing we humans do has to bow in that direction. If too hot, or too cold, life plans often change. Rainy days. Snowy days. Icy days and more.

Personally, a few more months of cold wouldn't be a problem. But, the groundhog has spoken, and I guess spring is coming soon!

Around here, well, life is moving as it does. Back from the wedding (truly outstandingly beautiful!...) and while I don't like to fly, I have decided that long trips require more legroom, so I upgraded the final leg to a more premium seat. No turbulence. No issues at all. One of the best flights I've ever taken, actually. And that was a nice ending to a great time.

Still, always prefer to be home. And then getting back into the swing of life. Had to decorate the house for Christmas (and buy the gifts!) in about 8 days! I managed, but it was a rush. Festivities and people and food and fun and, yes, the gifts. All was fabulous.

And now into 2025. As mentioned, we will have an early spring, so time to think about that. I'm refreshing my lineup by removing some older products that simply didn't catch your fancy. Waving goodbye to my diffuser products (the last quantity of the car diffusers will be listed on my Etsy shop), and some of my perfume scents are likely going on hiatus soon. If you don't love them, then I'm going to let them sit for a time. Maybe they are done. Maybe they just need a little time away for moods and needs to change.

But I'm already planning some new products. My bath salts are getting a revive, in a brand new package. A few new perfume fragrances are coming (and one is a return from long long ago...). New photos. New packaging. I like to refresh everything from time to time.

I'm also painting my office here at home. The issue with that is that I have to MOVE stuff to paint, and that means...yeah, I'm slow! But eventually everything will be done. And then onto the next chapter, right?

Thanks to my returning and regular customers for your trust, faith and support in 2024. Really, I am so blessed by so many names. Each order comes with a little icon so that I can see if you are new or not. I'm thrilled with the new people, of course! But when I see a returning customer, I feel even more blessed. You have a lot of places to shop, and I'm so grateful you come back to me. I promise to always do everything I can to be worthy of that.

PS even on warmer days, a great lip balm is a must. How about some of mine? Really lovely recipe (that I invented over 20 years ago)...filled with the good stuff.
